i made up my own story about the Dream Catcher on our wall and would tell her before nap/sleeping. she loves it. always lying on bed, having her milk and point to dream catcher, expecting to tell me the story again and again. however, she would interrupt by using her hand gesture to do twinkle twinkle little star while i am still telling the story. i would have to switch to the song, then half way, she point to dream catcher, switch back to story again… ning is cheeky, isn’t it?
this week, she started to ‘dedicate’ song by singing the first 2 words 妹妹. then i will sing the song 妹妹背着洋娃娃。each time i start to sing, she will laugh.
hui and i speak mandarin most of the time, so do talking to ning lo… when angry, we start to speak english, don’t know why.. haahahaa… a little bit of hokkien, malay…
oh, yesterday when i showed ning a fish which i was going to steam it, she starts to pronounce “hu2”, similar to the Fish in hokkien. hehehee… even though i told her is ‘yu2’ in mandarin, she just could only pronounce it as ‘hu2’. she could pronounce ‘fish’ in english.
when hui got home, ning told him she wants to eat ‘hu2’, he said our gal knows fish in hokkien and english d.. =P
ning loves to be thrown down on bed, such as riding on our back then fall off to the bed, riding on our legs (like riding horse) then fall off on bed. in fact, she jump down by herself.
