\u5f53\u6211\u4eec\u6362\u4e2a\u601d\u8003\u4f4d\u7f6e\uff0c\u6216\u5219\u7ad9\u5728\u4ed6\u4eba\u7684\u7acb\u573a\u53bb\u770b\u4e8b\u60c5\u7684\u65f6\u5019\uff0c\u672c\u6765\u7684\u60c5\u7eea\u5c31\u53ef\u80fd\u6d88\u5931\u6216\u8f6c\u6362\u6210\u53e6\u4e00\u4e2a\u60c5\u7eea\u3002<\/p>\n

Chapter 2<\/span><\/p>\n

“But Roberto’s life was wonderful. He had been an Instructor of Elevens – you know how important that is – and he’d been on the Planning Committee. And goodness, I don’t know how he found the time – he also raised two very successful children, and he was also the one who did the landscaping design for the Central Plaza. He didn’t do the actual labor, of course.”<\/p>\n

\u4ee5\u4e0a\u53d9\u8ff0\u7684\u5e94\u8be5\u662f\u7537\u5b69\u7b2c\u4e00\u6b21\u4ea7\u751f\u7684\u6027\u6b32\u671b\u3002\u5728\u6545\u4e8b\u91cc\u5934\u7684\u793e\u4f1a\uff0c\u89c4\u5b9a\u6bcf\u4e00\u5929\u90fd\u4f1a\u8ba9\u8fd9\u7537\u5b69\u541e\u4e0b\u4e00\u9897\u836f\u4e38\u6765\u6291\u5236\u8fd9\u4e2a\u6b32\u671b\u3002\u4e00\u5207\u90fd\u597d\u50cf\u662f\u90a3\u4e48\u5730\u7406\u6240\u5f53\u7136\u548c\u6b63\u5e38\u3002<\/p>\n

It was the sort of thing one didn’t ask a friend about because it might have fallen into that uncomfortable category of “being different.” Always better, less rude, to talk about things that were the same.<\/p>\n

\u8fd9\u4e00\u7ae0\u5f62\u5bb9\u7537\u4e3b\u89d2\u88ab\u6545\u610f\u8df3\u8fc7\u9881\u53d1\u7ed9\u4ed6\u672a\u6765\u7684\u804c\u4f4d\u7684\u5fc3\u60c5\u3002<\/p>\n

Chapter 8<\/span><\/p>\n

\u7537\u4e3b\u89d2\u7684\u804c\u4f4d\u662f Receiver of Memory. He has shown all of the qualities that a Receiver must have, that is Integrity, Intelligence and Courage.<\/p>\n

“The training required of you involves pain. Physical pain.” \u7136\u800c\uff0c\u5728\u573a\u6ca1\u6709\u4e00\u4e2a\u4eba\u80fd\u591f\u660e\u767d\u4f1a\u662f\u600e\u4e48\u6837\u7684\u4e00\u79cd\u75db\uff0c\u56e0\u4e3a\u5c31\u53ea\u6709\u73b0\u4efb\u7684 Receiver \u61c2\u3002<\/p>\n

\u7537\u4e3b\u89d2\u5f53\u4e0b\u7684\u5fc3\u60c5\u662f\u611f\u6fc0\u548c\u81ea\u8c6a\uff0c\u540c\u65f6\u4e5f\u88ab\u6050\u60e7\u5305\u56f4\uff0c\u56e0\u4e3a\u4e00\u5207\u662f\u90a3\u4e48\u7684 unknown.<\/p>\n

Chapter 9<\/span><\/p>\n

“He found that he was often angry, now; irrationally angry at his groupmates, that they were satisfied with their lives which had some of the vibrance his own was taking on. And he was angry at himself, that he could not change that for them.”<\/p>\n

“You’re right. But then everyone would be burdened and pained. They don’t want that. And that’s the real reason The Receiver is so vital to them, and so honored. They selected me – and you – to lift that burden from themselves.”<\/p>\n

“When did they decide that?” Jonas asked angrily. “It wasn’t fair. Let’s change it!”<\/p>\n

“How do you suggest we do that? I’ve never been able to think of a way, and I’m supposed to be the one with all the wisdom.”<\/p>\n

“But there are two of us now,” Jonas said eagerly. “Together we can think of something!”<\/p>\n

“The decision was made long before my time or yours,” The Giver said, “and before the previous Receiver, and -” He waited.<\/p>\n

“Back and back and back.” Jonas repeated the familiar phrase. Sometimes it had seemed humorous to him. Sometime it had seemed meaningful and important. Now it was ominous. It meant, he knew, that nothing could be changed.<\/p>\n
